Founded in 2001 by Gana-A’Yoo, Limited, the Gana-A’Yoo Foundation is a separate non-profit charitable organization. We believe that education is the key to the future, and the Foundation’s goal is to increase the scholarships available for shareholders of Gana-A’Yoo, Limited and their descendants while attending an accredited college/university, trade, technical or vocational school. The goal is to support all eligible students who seek higher education. We are proud to sponsor the next generation and encourage them to be successful and give back to their community. In the past five years, we have awarded over $225,000 worth of scholarships to these scholastic achievers!
Gana-A’Yoo Foundation is putting together a cookbook using recipes submitted by our shareholders, partners, and employees. If you have a story or picture regarding your recipe, that would be great to add if there is room. Plans are to sell the cookbooks and use the proceeds for scholarships. Please submit your favorite recipes to firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact Crystal Sommer at (907)569-9599, ext 570 or via email at email@example.com. Myra Ambrose will be selling tickets in Nulato, and Agnes Sweetsir will be selling tickets in Galena.
Each of the villages shares the goal of building a brighter future together!
